Span, Inc., a privately held Indiana company, was founded June 1985 by William Baker, the company's current president. Originally a consulting company, Span has designed successful electronic products, custom battery chargers, and systems for a wide range of markets including:

Now located in a newly-purchased building on our five-acre property with ample room to expand, our staff is equipped with the latest development tools and a production facility that welcomes future growth.

Through the efforts of our capable distribution partners and with the support of our loyal customers, it is Span’s good fortune to have been able to sustain a profitable business over these nearly 25 years.
The focus, however, remains on creativity, creativity, creativity. While only a small member of a dwindling class of creative companies in this country, Span hopes to continue to do its part in keeping innovative engineering and productivity alive here in the USA far into the future.
